Mindful Mother ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please email us at hello@mindfulmother.app.
What we collect
When you sign up for the beta or use Mindful Mother, we collect:
- Your name and email address — provided when you sign up for the beta or create an account.
- Onboarding responses — the journey and stage you select (pregnant, postpartum, trimester, months postpartum, etc.).
- Usage data — which meditations you listen to, how long you listen, and app interactions. Used to improve recommendations and content.
- Device information — basic technical details (device type, operating system version) needed to run the app.
We do not collect financial information, precise location, or health records.
How we use it
- To personalize meditation recommendations based on where you are in your journey.
- To send you emails about the app — such as your beta welcome, product updates, and requested feedback.
- To improve the app based on how it's actually being used.
- To communicate with you if you contact us.
We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties. Ever.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Mindful Mother:
- Supabase — hosts our database and audio content.
- Resend — sends transactional emails like your beta welcome.
- Vercel — hosts the mindfulmother.app website.
Each provider is contractually required to keep your information secure and use it only to provide the services we've asked of them.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Access your data — request a copy of everything we have on file for you.
- Correct your data — update anything that's wrong.
- Delete your data — ask us to remove your account and everything associated with it.
- Unsubscribe from emails — use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
Just reach out to hello@mindfulmother.app and we'll take care of it, typically within a few days.
Children's privacy
Mindful Mother is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn we've collected data from a child under 13, we'll delete it.
Data security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and industry-standard security practices to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
